1. Is the Vinyl Railing sturdy?
Yes, very. The vinyl railing systems that we carry come with an aluminum
re-inforcement in the top rail, making it very substantial, and weight-bearing.
2. What kind of warranty does it have on it?
All railings all have long-term warranties. It would be best to visit
each manufacturer's individual website for detailed and specific warranty
information. See railings page for links to
manufacturer sites.
3. Does it turn Yellow in the sun?
No. Our railing systems are made with a UV protectant.
4. Is it easy to install, can we do it ourselves?
Many of our customers do install it themselves with no complications.
The railings come in sections including the rails, pickets, and mounting
brackets. A section is easy to assemble with pre-fabricated holes, and
comes with easy-to-follow instructions.
5. How do you clean the Railing?
We recommend just water and mild detergent.
6. Does Plastic Lumber Specialties, Inc. have someone who can install
the Railings?
Yes, we work with installers who can provide an estimate before work begins.
1. How do you clean the decking?
A water hose and mild detergent can be used.
2. Will the decking fade?
Composite decking will weather slightly, but plastic decking will never
fade.
3. Does it stain easily?
No. All of our decking systems are made to be stain-resistant.
4. Can you put it over an existing surface?
Yes, you can use your existing structure although there are certain exceptions.
All plastic decking can go over existing deck boards.
5. Is the surface slippery?
No. All of our decking systems have a textured surface, and they also
do not contain any oils that would make them slippery during certain weather
conditions.
